Iftar Mahfil 2024
On the occasion of Holy Ramadan, a grand iftar mahfil is hosted as a significant event for the Department of Accounting & Information Systems, University of Dhaka. The cherished event of the Iftar Mahfil for the year 2024 was held on the 27th of March. Thus, the day remains in a special place in the hearts of the people of A&IS. Continuing the tradition, the department organized the highly anticipated “A&IS Iftar Mahfil 2024” at the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka.
Professor Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, the distinguished Treasurer of the University of Dhaka and the Former Chairman of the A&IS Department at University of Dhaka, honored us as the Chief Guest. The insightful speeches from our revered teachers and alumni infused the event with deeper significance. This year’s gathering saw the union of approximately 600 A&IS individuals, making it a truly memorable occasion.
The iftar mahfil organized by the A&IS Department transforms into a vibrant reunion of esteemed teachers, students, guests, staff, and alumni. This annual event offers a wonderful opportunity for current students and alumni to come together, stay connected with the accounting family, and build relationships with seniors, juniors, and teachers.
University of Dhaka Accounting Forum (UDAF) has continued the tradition of hosting this event for years. The firm dedication and hard work of the Executive Committee members and volunteers of the club made it possible to arrange such a grand event on behalf of the department, turning the day into a lifetime memory for the A&IS community.
